Hugo Holidays are Here! 🎄
Nestled just outside the Twin Cities, Hugo, Minnesota, transforms into a seasonal wonderland. From twinkling lights to festive tree lightings, Santa visits, and winter fun around town, Hugo truly comes alive during the holiday season. Families gather, neighbors celebrate, and memories are made — making this city the perfect place to enjoy the magic of the season together.
Hugo Events: November 2025 - February 2026
Christmas at the Courthouse
- Saturday, November 22 | 10 AM - 4 PM
- Sunday, November 23 | 11 AM - 3 PM
- Bring the kids to meet Santa, browse holiday crafts, and celebrate the season at Washington County’s historic courthouse.
Enchantment in the Park
- Nightly from Friday, November 28 - Wednesday, December 24 at Regner Park. Stroll or drive through dazzling lights, sip hot chocolate, and soak up the festive magic of the season. A suggested minimum donation of $20 and/or non-perishable food donations are accepted.
Hugo Lions Club Senior Dinner
- Hugo Senior Dinner (December) – A complimentary meal offered to area residents aged 65+. A lovely outreach idea—kids can craft cards, perform a small song, or help serve (with supervision).
Hugo Santa Party & Tree Lighting
- Wednesday, December 3 | 5 - 7 PM at the Peder Pederson Pavilion. Kick off the holiday season with a magical tree lighting and a visit from Santa
Lindström Tree Lighting Festival
- Saturday, December 6 | 4:30 - 6 PM at Memorial Park. Gather with neighbors for a tree lighting, Santa visit, live music, and s’mores.
Santa & Reindeer Event w/ Jesse
- Saturday, December 13 | 10 AM - 1 PM
- Stop out for photos with Santa, live reindeer, hot cocoa w/cookies, face painting and more! In the spirit of the holidays, it is requested guests bring a non-perishable food item to contribute to the holiday food drive. Wearing a festive Christmas sweater is encouraged!
Sledding Party in Hugo
- Saturday, February 11 | 10 AM - 12 PM at Oak Shore Park. Enjoy a fun-filled winter morning with sledding, hot chocolate, and a cozy bonfire.
